YouTube Video Editor
About us
We work with some of the largest brands in the education space, specifically in mortgage, finance, and real estate. We're a done-for-you, full-service partner: we handle everything from strategy and ideation all the way to posting the video, and everything in between, so our clients don't have to.
This year alone, the clients we work with have seen around $85M in attributable sales, and we're growing fast. We're always looking for top-level talent who wants to join a growing company with a great culture.
We believe in creating high-level content that helps our clients build their brand, attract more business, and scale through inbound content marketing.
Our core values
Learning never stops. You enjoy growth personally and professionally.
Honest feedback, both internally and externally, is a gift we gladly receive.
Be the type of person people can always count on, both internally and externally.
Be the person who spots what is broken and makes it better.
The role and application process
You edit YouTube videos that generate leads, build trust, and drive millions in sales for our clients: talking-head videos and content filmed on location. Your job is to take the raw footage and turn it into something people enjoy watching, while making sure the client's expertise comes across in the most valuable way possible.
You're part of a high-performing team, so the standard will be high. Everyone wants their clients to get the best results. Turnarounds are fast. If that excites you more than it scares you, you're exactly who we're looking for.
How hiring works

- 2We review
- $Paid trial
- 4Interview
- 5Offer
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver 2+ videos per week during your 60-day trial, ramping to 3+ per week once fully onboarded, with consistent 72-hour turnaround times.
- QC your own work against our editing checklist before submitting. Your manager shouldn't be catching mistakes you could have caught yourself.
- Communicate daily. We work as a team, and we run on high communication.
- Run retention reviews on your edits: what held attention, what didn't, and what you're changing next time.
- Do competitor analysis and trend research to stay ahead of what's working on YouTube right now.
- Keep project files and assets organized. If someone else needs to find your files, they should be able to.
- Share editing resources (motion graphics templates, intros, assets) with the team. Hoarding slows everyone down.
- Spot challenges early and bring solutions before they become problems.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English. Your walkthrough video must be recorded in English.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional editing experience, with edits you are proud to show us.
- Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- You'll use Premiere Pro, Frame.io, Notion, and Dropbox daily. You don't need to be an expert on day 1, but you need to learn fast.
- A solid foundation in motion graphics, and the drive to learn fast and add on-brand graphics quickly.
- You balance speed and quality. We ship weekly, and every video meets brand standards and hits deadline.
- You can join team meetings and trainings with our 30+ editors to train and share feedback.
- You experiment with new AI tools, workflows, and approaches without being asked.
What success looks like
- 90%+on-time delivery every month
- 3 / weekvideos once fully ramped (12+ a month)
- 90%+manager approval on V1 drafts
- 90%+client approval on final videos
Compensation and benefits
$24,000 to $36,000+ USD per year, based on volume, skill, and experience. Every position starts with a 60-day paid trial to make sure it's a fit on both sides.
- Flexible, fully remote work
- Established clients in mortgage, finance, and real estate
- A growing team with a great culture
- A structured production system with clear processes and support
- Growth into creative leadership roles for people who perform
Your Application
Four quick steps. About 10 minutes once your recording is ready.
Format your application with the same quality you'll bring to your edits. If your submission is sloppy, we'll assume your work is too.
Make every link public. Set sharing to "Anyone with the link can view" (Google Drive, Docs, Loom, Dropbox, and so on). If we can't open it, we can't review it. Uploaded files are fine as they are.
Application Received
Thanks for walking us through your work. Our team watches every submission, and we'll email you about next steps.
